What to do if you smell gas in your home

If you smell gas please follow the information below.
Open all windows and doors.

Turn off the gas at your ECV (emergency control valve) – it’s normally by your meter.

Call 0800 111 999, the emergency service provider, explain the issue and follow their instructions.

Call us and we will work at getting you back operational and gas tight again.
